Ginger Fox Puzzles – The Whiskies of Scotland Jigsaw

Ginger Fox Puzzles – The Whiskies of Scotland Jigsaw

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a whiskey or wine lover in your life or a lover of travel, then Ginger Fox Games has you covered. Ginger Fox Games have an impressive collection of family and adult puzzles and games to choose from. We chose their Whiskies of Scotland jigsaw puzzle to add to our collection of puzzles and we were absolutely thrilled we did!

I’m not personally a huge fan of whiskey, but members of my family certainly are. However, I do love Scotland. And although I don’t partake in the strong stuff myself, I do love a visit to a distillery! There is something about the process of creating alcohol that I find truly fascinating. And, of course, I absolutely adore jigsaws!

The Whiskies of Scotland Jigsaw Puzzle

Our Whiskies of Scotland jigsaw puzzles arrived promptly through the post in a neat and colourful box. Alongside the jigsaw itself, also included is an illustration (or map) of the puzzle. This was incredibly useful and worked so much better than simply having an illustration of the completed puzzle on the box like some traditional jigsaws do.

The Whiskeys of Scotland puzzle is incredibly colorful. Comprising 500 pieces, this puzzle was a great way to spend a few evenings around the table with the family. The quality of the images is excellent. The pieces themselves are of very high quality. This is certainly a puzzle we will be able to play again and again without having to worry about wear and tear.

The map of Scotland pictured on the puzzle includes some great details.

We were able to pinpoint all the wonderful places we have visited in Scotland over the years. It did feel a little like a road trip down memory lane! But you don’t have to leave your home to explore all the distilleries of Scotland, you can now do this from your dining table!

The puzzle also included some interesting facts about the production of whiskey in Scotland which were rather fascinating.

I have always been a huge fan of jigsaw puzzles. I have always found them to be a relaxing activity. My youngest daughter has never liked them and previously had point-blank refused to indulge in this pastime. However, I asked her to complete the Whiskies of Scotland jigsaw puzzle with me. I’m so glad she agreed. This was a great way to introduce her properly to jigsaws. She was able to note all the places in Scotland she had visited which made the jigsaw so enjoyable for her. It kept her off the computer and we got to spend some family time together and create some memories too!

Ginger Fox Games

Ginger Fox Games have been producing high-quality and incredibly fun puzzles and games since 2007. From humble origins in the Cotswolds, UK, they now import their entertaining board games and puzzles throughout the world. The company takes its environmental responsibilities incredibly seriously using recycled materials to create its products. Furthermore, the puzzle is housed in a suitably sized box, thus reducing the amount of packaging used.

It was incredibly difficult to choose just one puzzle from Ginger Fox games. Similar puzzles in the jigsaw collection include Wines of Spain and Portugal, Wines of Italy, and Wines of France. These puzzles also include wonderfully colorful imagery and fabulous details. They are a little larger containing 1000 pieces.

Ginger Fox makes a range of other excellent board games, including Task Master and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. We have their Who Wants to be a Millionaire board game in our games collection. It provides hours of fun and is a firm Christmas favourite with the family and has been for a number of years.

We have ordered more puzzles to give as gifts to our family and friends. The website was incredibly user-friendly and delivery was swift. The puzzles were well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition! We cannot wait to share these unique and addictive jigsaw puzzles with our loved ones! Most importantly, we had so much fun as a family creating our masterpiece!
