During a recent visit to Cheshire Oaks, we ventured into a shop which wasn’t on our usual route. The name of the shop is Whittard and it is essentially a tea shop. The free samples drew us in and soon enough, we were hooked. I now class myself as something of a Whittard Tea connoisseur and have a vast collection of their teas. In this post, I’m going to share with you the best Whittard tea flavours (in my humble opinion) based upon my experience of drinking gallons of the stuff in recent months!
1. Dreamtime
I’m going to begin with an all-time family favourite of ours and ultimately (in our opinion) the very best of all the Whittard Tea flavours; Dreamtime. This particular tea is made from honey, apricot and vanilla flavours and is absolutely delicious. We first tried this tea in the shop and it was served warm and this is the way we always drink it at home. There’s something very soothing about this flavour which makes it the perfect accompaniment for a cold autumn evening. If I was to recommend any Whittard Tea to a first timer, it would undoubtedly be Dreamtime.

2. Pink Lemonade
I gave up fizzy drinks over the summer, but still had an urge for something fruity and thirst-quenching like pop. Pink Lemonade really hit the spot and really did help me transition from fizzy drinks to healthier choices. We would enjoy pink lemonade over the summer months, sat in the garden. So for me, it definitely has that summer feeling. But I still enjoy a cup as the colder months approach and I dream of the sun!

3. Turkish Apple
Turkish Apple is, in my youngest daughter’s opinion, the very best of all the Whittard Tea flavours. It tastes just like apple juice. We prefer to drink this tea cold as I couldn’t imagine trying it warm. However, it probably tastes delicious as a hot drink, especially in the winter months. My daughter drinks Turkish Apple with lashings of ice to make it super soothing on her throat.

4. Peach
We first tried Peach on our most recent visit to Cheshire Oaks. The sun was shining, the jackets were off and the sun was low in the sky. Drinking Peach Iced Tea took me back to our adventures in Rome and reminded me of laying in the summer with a cool iced tea in my hand. Although I love the flavour of the peach tea, I also purchase it because of the sense of nostalgia it conjured in my mind. I could honesty drink this stuff all day and pretend I’m somewhere else entirely!

5. Strawberry and Watermelon
Strawberry and Watermelon was the very first Whittard Tea flavour we ever tried which is why it remains, for us, one the best flavours. This drink, in my opinion, best served cold, is incredibly refreshing. It was the perfect accompaniment to our hot tub in the summer! These two flavours work perfectly together and taste better the colder this drink is served.

6. Mango and Passionfruit
We enjoyed this tea cold over the summer months, but as the weather has turned cooler, we experimented a little and served it warm. To our surprise, it didn’t disappoint. The flavour is subtle rather than overbearing which I always find much preferable in a tea served warm.

7. Cranberry and Raspberry
This tea is a rather controversial flavour in our house. I absolutely adore this flavour, however everyone else in my family think otherwise. It is a rather sharp flavour given the inclusion of cranberry. My family neither like it hot or cold, however I must say I much prefer to drink it warm as opposed to cold and served with ice. The cranberry flavour reminds me of Christmas and I might just find a cup of this in hand when we put up our Christmas tree!

8. Raspberry Ripple Hot Chocolate
The final two items on this list may seem a little out of place, however I simply couldn’t leave them out! Not strictly tea, Whittards offer the most delicious hot chocolate drinks. I personally don not like hot chocolate, however for Whittard hot chocolates, I make an exception. I tried several hot chocolate samples in the shop and found the milk chocolate products to be ‘too chocolatey’ for my taste buds. The Raspberry Ripple flavour however was incredible! This is a white hot chocolate and tastes absolutely delicious! The raspberry ripple flavour gives a great punch but isn’t too overbearing.

9. Sticky Toffee Pudding Hot Chocolate
This is the stuff of dreams! Everyone who visits my house gets offered a cup of Sticky Toffee Pudding Hot Chocolate on account of its excellence! I have sometimes drank this when I’m in the mood for something sweet and it kicks the craving but is also quite filling. For this reason, we only drink this hot chocolate in half servings as we found drinking a whole cup of the stuff felt like eating a meal! It makes for the perfect comfort drink and dessert rolled into one!

I hope you enjoyed this post on the best Whittard Tea Flavours (in my opinion). No doubt on my next shopping spree, I’ll try some new flavours which I can share with you!
Do you enjoy Whittard Tea products? What are your favourite flavours?
