Christmas Ready with Femme Luxe

We’re on the countdown to Christmas and in this final stretch, we’ve decided to introduce you to Femme Luxe, a fabulously funky brand!

Why Femme Luxe for Christmas?

My eldest daughter, Kerri was in desperate need of some new clothes. She’s 18, rather quirky and really fussy when it comes to finding and buying new clothes. Most days she’s quite happy to slouch in her college clothes. She has a weekend job, so if she’s not in her college attire, you’ll find her in her work uniform!

But, with Christmas just around the corner, Kerri found herself in need of some new clothes to wear during the holiday season. The poor kid didn’t want to be going to all the family parties we have planned in her ripped jeans and jumper!

This Christmas, I was introduced to the website Femme Luxe. This was a totally new site for Kerri and me and we were keen to try out some of their clothes!

Femme Luxe is one of those websites where you can find literally everything for your wardrobe – from going out glam dresses to slouching trousers, Femme Luxe has the lot! And not only clothes, but this site also sells shoes and accessories to complete your outfit!

So if you’re looking for the perfect Christmas outfit, then look no further than Femme Luxe. They have a huge selection of Christmas party dresses, and sparkling glitter dresses. Yet if you prefer something a little more understated (like Kerri and I prefer) then you’ll also find a vast array of jeans, hoodies, loungewear and knitwear. You can also browse through their ‘Co-ords‘ collection – which includes an impressive selection of two-piece outfits, both casual and dressy!

Furthermore, the site currently has a huge sale on many of its items. You’re bound to bag yourself a bargain!

So, What Did Kerri Choose?

Mauve Satin Long Sleeve Shrilled Waist Crop Top

Have you heard? Crop tops are back in fashion! Who knew?! I absolutely adore this Mauve Satin Long sleeve shrilled waist crop top! This beautiful purple colour is perfect on Kerri and really compliments her skin tone. And the colour was exactly what we expected when it arrived!

This satin feel long-sleeved shrilled waist crop top really jazzes up any outfit! This could be worn with jeans, black trousers or even a skirt. The shrilled waist is designed to perfectly complement a womanly figure and make the most of all those curves! The sleeves are also shrilled which makes this top even more unique! Kerri ordered this top with Christmas day in mind – it is dressy but not too over the top to wear for a family gathering. She can also wear it over Christmas on her various college/work Christmas parties and outings too!

This top is also available in black and a rust orange colour too!

Kerri is a size 10-12 and ordered a 12 and it fits her perfectly. The shrilled waist bottom doesn’t ride up as she walks or sits down, it fits her like a glove!

Camel High Waisted Slim Leg Trousers

I’m never too keen on high waisted slim leg trousers for myself. I always think they look great on the mannequin, but never on a person. However, these high waisted slim leg trousers have changed my mind!

They fit Kerri perfectly, they’re snug, but not too tight. They can hide all those unseemly bumps (not that Kerri has any of course). They’re dressy enough to wear for a special occasion, yet could also be dressed down for less formal occasions. Kerri has decided to wear these trousers for college after the holiday season!

I have to agree with Kerri, these high waisted slim leg trousers look amazing with her shrilled waist crop top! The colours work so well together.

These trousers are also available in an alternative colour – khaki and are available in sizes 8 -14. Kerri is a 12 and this size fits her well!

Stone Waterfall Duster Belted Long Coat

This is my favourite item of all. I mean, a girl can never have too many coats, right? This coat is so soft and light yet it’s warm enough to wear throughout the winter. The length is perfect falling below the knee. It has a waterfall finish to flatter the figure.

Kerri’s new Stone Waterfall duster belted long coat is available in a variety of colours, from dark to lighter shades. In particular, I love the red shade as well as the navy coloured coast. Kerri opted for a lighter, stone shade with the logic that this colour will match all of her outfits. This is another great thing about this coat – it will literally go with absolutely any outfit.

It can be worn with trainers or flats, or even heels and boots for a more dressy effect. This coat would look smart while heading out for dinner, or easy to carry around college!

Put together, all of these items make for a perfect outfit!

How Did We Find the Service?

So, you liked the look of the clothes, but how was the service? I often find this is the most asked question when I review a particular brand.

The clothes arrived promptly, with fast delivery. We were slightly worried about the items arriving in time for Christmas, however, to our surprise, the items were delivered as promised, even despite the Christmas chaos!

The website was incredibly user-friendly. The items are placed into a variety of categories as well as occasions.

From past experience, I’ve found that many online stores sell products that are smaller than the sie they claim to be. I’ve had many instances where an alleged size 16 was too small for me when I was a size 12! However, Femme Luxe is different! Their clothes are actually designed for women between the size of 8 and 14. This means their range fits well onto bodies of this particular size.

Kerri has recommended Femme Luxe to all of her college friends not least of all because the site is currently offering 10% off for students! I know many of her friends will be shopping for their Christmas outfits at Femme Luxe!
